Dr Bunny Vreeland - Ventura Hypnotherapist

Dr. Bunny Vreeland

Hi Bunny,
I suffer from anxiety and currently see a physcotherapist. I believe my adult experience has been greatly shaped by my thought processes which generally consist of negative thinking, which only incresases my sense of anxiety. Can hypnotherapy aid in changing my "inner voice" and my subconscious thought process, and bring about a change to more positive expectations and a positive internal experience? My goal is to simply create a more enjoyable life, one which is seemingly less traumatic on a daily basis.
Thanks.

Thank you for your very thought provoking email. You are correct when you say that your way of thinking increases your sense of anxiety. I do a lot of presentations to groups and companies on the subject of 'Self Talk'- how we talk to ourselves. What we say in our own minds. Do you know that we have about 50,000 thoughts a day and 3/4 of them are negative? How can you turn those negatives into positive thoughts? You can practice, practice, practice! Some people can do this all by themselves. Others of us need a coach to help. That's what I do - I coach your subconscious mind to re-think your old, unhealthy habits and negative thoughts. Yes, Hypnotherapy is a great aid in changing the 'inner voice'and creating a healthier and happier thought pattern. Ask yourself these questions: 1. When I make a mistake, what do I say to myself? 2.When I experience symptoms of my disorder, how do I react? Do I feel like a failure? 3.When I look at myself in the mirror, what do I think? 4.Do I like myself? How you think about yourself defines your self-esteem. How you see yourself defines your self-esteem. If you are hard on yourself when you make a mistake, if you don't like what you see in the mirror, if you feel like a failure every time your anxiety relapses, chances are you have low self-esteem. You probably don't like yourself all that well. If you don't like yourself, it may be difficult to believe that recovery from your anxiety disorder is possible. I aqm here to tell you that this can be turned around. I invite you to call me (805-984-1237) and we can discuss this.

Bunny Vreeland - Hypnotherapy and Allergies

Bunny Vreeland, Ventura Hypnotherapist -

I have suffered from allergies my entire adult life. Each Spring I know what I am in for. Sometimes I don't even like to go outside. My symptoms include nasal congestion and blockage, itching, sneezing and watery eyes and nose. I don't like taking the suggested medications, I don't like the way they make me feel. My sister told me that she has heard there has been success with allergies through hypnotherapy? Is it true? I would love some relief.

Thanks
Susan

Susan, Thank you for your question about allergies. Boy! I can really relate to your situation. In fact, 25 years ago I suffered from Migraine Headaches and allergies to the point that I would pass out from the headache pain. At the same time I was seeing an allergist 3 times a week for allergies to grass, dust mites, mold, roses and about 30 other items. I tried various medications and treatments. None of these helped me. What did help me was Hypnotherapy. It completely eliminated all my headaches and allergies and I haven’t had even a hint of any problems, since. No drugs or medicine, either. I was so impressed with the results that I became actively involved with the study hypnotherapy. I was so delighted with what I learned I eventually went on to receive my Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I am a firm believer that Hypnotherapy can substantially reduce or eliminate your allergies. Please call me at 805-984-1237 for more information or to set up an appointment. Trust me, this works!

Bunny Vreeland - Hypnotherapy Helps Anxiety

Thank you for your thought-provoking question. You are correct when you say that your way of thinking and what you say in your mind can increase a sense of anxiety. Self-talk defines self-esteem. We have about 50,000 thoughts a day and often 3/4 of them are negative! So how can you turn those negative thoughts and how we talk to ourselves into positive thoughts? Practice, practice, practice! To succeed you need to be aware of the messages you give yourself and then on the spot change them to positive. Some people can do this all by themselves. Others need a coach to help. That's what I do- I coach your subconscious mind to re-think negative thoughts and old, unhealthy habits. Yes, Hypnotherapy is a great aid in changing the “inner voice” and creating a healthier and happier thought pattern. Ask yourself these questions: 1. When I make a mistake, what do I say to myself? 2.When I experience anxiety, how do I react? Do I call myself names or think I failed or do I say I am learning and doing better and better? 3.When I look at myself in the mirror, what do I think? Do I say kind things to myself? If you are hard on yourself or if you make a mistake, cut yourself some slack. You are a growing personality and learning to love yourself is part of the lessons. You can turn around anxiety and Hypnosis can make all the difference.
